My internet presence

Zoe is a senior Neuroscience major at W&L who is on the riding team. She rides at a barn called Country Lane Farm in Greenwich, CT, where she grew up and still currently lives. She attended Greenwich High School where she was on the honor roll all four years. Zoe was part of her high school’s W&L Equestrian Tridentstudent athlete send off as seen in her local newspaper. At W&L, she is a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and has also been captain of her riding team for the past two years. She has numerous accolades with the team that can be found on the W&L athletics website. Zoe is pre-med and spent the last summer interning at Orthopedic & Neurosurgery Specialists in her hometown.

Looking at solely information that can be found online, much of what I found about myself was fairly expected. I had to resort to google alone as I could not find anything about me on the Wayback Machine, unless I am just using it wrong which is also very possible. Most things about me starting in high school can be found on the web, however, it looks as though anything prior to then either is harder to find or isn’t there. I thought that maybe I would be able to find stuff from middle school or even elementary school but was not successful. The easiest information to find on me was things associated with W&L. My web presence has definitely become more prominent over time which I guess is expected, considering the digital world has grown as I myself have grown. Majority of what I found was from a site other than social media. All my social media accounts are private so there is very little that can be found about me except what is in my bios. My W&L riding roster page and LinkedIn shared majority of the information with a few additional things coming from hometown newspapers. I think if a future researcher was trying to learn about me, they would have a pretty good idea of my interests but probably would not be able to find much about my early life. It will be interesting to see if my internet presence continues to increase over time. I’m going to assume yes considering when you search someone like my Dad who has had a much longer presence on the internet, so much more can be found.
